Transport Instructions
By Car

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council proposes
to temporarily close the northbound carriageway of the M50 between Junctions 12
and 14, between the hours of midnight and 4.00am on the 11th, 12th,
13th, and 14th June 2012. The closure is to facilitate
the erection of Variable Message Signs on overhead gantries by contractors
working on behalf of the National Roads Authority.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.
Traffic will be diverted via the R113 (Green Route Northbound) , Brehon Field
Road, Grange Road, Taylor’s Lane, Ballyboden Way, Scholarstown Road, and St.
Colmcille’s Way. All diversions will be signposted and further details will be
available on our website www.dlrcoco.ie

Any interested party may lodge an objection in
writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road,
Dun Laoghaire not later than noon on Monday 28th May, 2012.

M50: Leave the M50 at junction 13 and follow the sign posts
Dublin City: Follow the N11 to the junction with Fosters Avenue. Turn right and follow R112 until the junction with Taney Road. Turn Left and make another left at the first traffic signals onto the R117 and follow the road into Dundrum.Parking: Parking may be accessed from Ballinteer Rd., Sandyford Rd., and the Dundrum Bypass. To make your parking experience more efficient, we have installed digital signs on each level to indicate exactly how many parking spaces are available. By Luas Dundrum Town Centre is served by LUAS Green Line-St. Stephens Green to Brides Glen. The Dundrum and Balally stops are only a few minutes walk from our doorstep.From the Dundrum Station (estimated time: 5 minutes)
Exit the station and turn right—you will see Sandyford Road ahead. Make a left onto Sandyford Road and continue down the road until you see Dundrum Town Centre. The entrance to the Centre is just across the street.From the Balally Station (estimated time: 3 minutes)
Exit the station and make a left at the first junction. Continue down this road until you reach the first stoplight. Make a right and follow the footpath. Dundrum is only a few more steps ahead.Tram Times and Information:Monday to Friday from 05.30 to 00.30am

Sunday from 07.00 to 23.30pm
Bank Holidays from 07.00 to 00.30am*Special services operate during the Christmas season, New Year and on other occasions.
*During peak travel times 07.00 to 10.00 and 16.00 to 21.00 LUAS trams operate every 4/ 5 minutes between St. Stephens Green and Sandyford and every 10/12 minutes to Brides Glen. Off peak trams will run every 10 to15 minutes.
Bus Dundrum Town Centre is served by 7 Dublin Bus Routes:
1. 14 – Dundrum Road Church – Beaumont (Ardlea Road) via D’Olier St / Westmoreland St2. 17 – Blackrock Sation –Dundrum Highfield Pk – Rialto
3. 44 – Townsend – Dundrum Town Centre – Enniskerry
4. 75 – Tallaght-Dundrum (Ballinteer Rd.) – Dun Laoghaire

Larkhill to Enniskerry providing a direct link from Collins Avenue/ Larkhill to
Drumcondra Rail Station, O’Connell Street, Pearse Street Rail Station, Merrion
Square, Ranelagh, Dundrum Town Centre, Stepaside, Kilternan and Enniskerry.
Route 44 will also provide direct connections between both Red and Green Luas
lines. Please note Route 44 will no longer operate via Ballyogan, making
journeys to the city centre more direct from Enniskerry and Kilternan.

Route 47 will operate a revised alignment providing improved
linkages from South Dublin to the Docklands area. The service will operate from
Sandyford (Belarmine) via Sandyford Industrial Estate, Stillorgan SC, UCD
Belfield, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sandymount and Ringsend to Fleet Street.
Route 47 will provide improved connections to key business and leisure areas
(Grand Canal Dock, Aviva Stadium, Shelbourne Park and Bord Gáis Energy
Theatre). Route 47 will benefit from the consistency provided by the dedicated
bus priority on Pearse Street QBC
